Traditional films vs cinematic films

A traditional video is long-form documentation. It follows the event in order and keeps the rituals intact, which is what families come back to years later when they want to see the ceremony itself rather than a highlight of it.

A cinematic film is edited storytelling — shorter, scored to music, built around emotion and interviews rather than chronology. Most couples book both: the traditional video for the record, the cinematic film for the feeling.

What a cinematic booking delivers

Deliverables scale with the hours booked, and every combination includes a teaser and a reel at no extra cost.

• 7–12 hours: one full-length cinematic film, typically 3–5 minutes
• 3–5 hours: one cinematic film, typically 2–3 minutes
• A complimentary cinematic teaser of up to 1 minute
• A complimentary cinematic reel of up to 30 seconds
• Getting-ready footage when enough time is allowed for it
• Longer films for celebrations that run across multiple days

Two things that decide how good the film is

First, the interview list. Share it a day before the event — on the wedding day the team cannot go looking for people, and the interviews are what give a cinematic film its voice.

Second, the song. If you want a specific track in the edit, it has to reach us before editing begins; once the edit is cut to a song, changing it means rebuilding it. Our shooting priority on the day runs couple shoot first, then getting ready, then interviews.
