Engagement Photographer in Mumbai
The engagement is the first time both families are in one room, and it is usually shorter and busier than anyone plans for. Coverage has to be quick and unobtrusive — the ring exchange happens once, often in poor light, surrounded by phones.
Covering a ring ceremony
The ritual itself takes minutes, so we position for it in advance: the exchange, the reactions from both sides, the blessing that follows. Around that, we cover the arrival, the families meeting, the speeches or performances if there are any, and the meal.
Group photographs matter more at engagements than at almost any other event, because it is often the only time certain relatives from both families appear together. We will make time for those deliberately rather than squeezing them in at the end.
Photos and films together
Most engagement bookings pair photography with a cinematic film. A short-format cinematic shoot delivers a two to three minute video with a complimentary teaser and a reel — the reel in particular tends to be what couples actually send out to announce the engagement.
If you want a specific song in the edit, it needs to reach us before editing begins. Song and interview details are worth settling a day ahead so nothing is chased on the event day.

Engagement and pre-wedding together
Some couples combine the engagement with a pre-wedding session in the same week while both families and outfits are already organised. It is an efficient way to get both sets of images without adding another day to the calendar.
